Hawaii Pet Magazine

Congrats to our members that will attend the advanced screening of "earth"

Hawaii Pet Magazine is proud to be a Hawaii sponsor for earth, the first film in the Disney nature series! Narrated by James Earl Jones, earth follows the journey of three animal families as they travel our planet. Opening Nationwide Earth Day, April 22, 2009.

Hawaii Pet Magazine gave away passes (each pass admits 2) to the April 8 earth to our members that told us how they are reducing their carbon footprint (and pet's pawprint).

View the "earth" movie trailer.

Congratulations!!! View the member that will be attending the prescreening of earth and read about their "green" habits.

Hi, our family of six, four humans and 2 dogs, recycles as much as we can. We've stopped using plastic water bottles for dog walks and we use green brita reusable water containers instead. Cleaning up after the dogs is very important, not only for the planet's sake but for the dog's health as well. We recently got our female puppy spade so we can avoid puppies down the line. This will keep the pet population down and keep her as healthy as she can be. We would enjoy going to the movie, Earth. Thank you for the opportunity.

My puppy and I always try to carpool to the dog park, and try to fit it into our daily schedule so we don't waste gasoline.

We allow our dogs to sleep on our bed, at our feet so they can keep our feet warm, thus eliminating the need for electric blankets or heaters.

My pup and I try to reduce our carbon footprint by regularly walking to the doggie park rather than drive. Also we try to reuse my lunch baggie from earlier in the day for his daily... ahem! thanks!

we use biodegradable bags to pick up our doggie "do" - that way, when it goes to the landfill the bag goes away too.
