Wow, I would have loved to climb that tree with Daisy. Maybe when I can turn my head again. You have lucky kids.

We are currently increasing the amount of plants and trees in our yard to help the environment. We also keep the yard clean, maintained and pest free so our dogs have their own personal dog park. We open the windows and turn off the air conditioner…

I'm a police officer and Renee is a Vet, so unfortunately we both see some of really painful stuff. It's hard to believe that humans can be so cruel to such innocent creatures. Our animals offer unconditional love in return for safety, fresh water,…

Pet Story
My three and Renee's four made seven which we thought was enough. The good news is the we decided to keep Buddy, so we've hit eight which is definitely enough. They are all spoiled rotten, but they take pretty good care of us too.

I got Rookie from the Humane Society in 2001. A year later, I was at a fire scene and found Lucky and her 5 brothers and sisters in a puddle under a bush. Lucky saved their lives by crying for help. Once I found her, the firemen were able to help me get her siblings out from under the bush. Lucky was less than 2 weeks old when I got her, and had to be hand fed every 2-3 hours for 3 weeks. Her vet didn't think she was going to make it, but in September she makes 4 years old.

In August of 2005 a little black and white puppy was found in a crate on a busy street. The good samaritan that found her brought her to the police station where I work. She did not have a chip, and she became mine when the humane society reported no one came forward to claim her. She loves to chase the cats around the house, and they actually let her. They are the loves of my life and always keep a smile on my face.
Juvie's favorite place to go is 55 Pawsh Place in Kapolei by Starbucks and Jamba Juice. Uncle David is always happy to see her and she even gets a treat sometimes. Every time we visit there's something new that we can't live without.
