I would really like to take my children on an outing before school starts, but as we all know, the economy has taken a toll on us too. It's just too expensive to go the movies now days. Please choose us! Please!

I got a call from a friend who knew I wanted a dog saying that her daughters friends sister had a chihuahua and she didn't want it anymore and if I wanted it, I needed to pick it up. When I went to get her, my heart broke. She was skinny, dirty and full of ticks and fleas. The owner handed her to me no questions asked, didn't tell me what kind of food she ate(until I asked), how old she was or any important details. The only helpful information I got was her name. We, my children and I, wrapped her in a towel and took her home. I sat at the table plucking every tick and flea out of her little body (i think well over a hundred ticks...not kidding), gave her a bath and gave her some food. She was so afraid to be held for at least 3 months. We kept her name since she knew it well. I think for the later half with her previous owners she was kept outside. She is housebroken so that was a major plus. She is my 4th child. And now, she bosses everyone else around...this is HER home.
