Pawspective -Spring 2010 Issue of Hawaii Pet Magazine

This past winter brought amazing changes and growth to Hawaii Pet Magazine.

In November we partnered with Pacificnetwork.tv to present the 1st annual Hawaii Pet Film Festival & Holiday Gift Show at the Neal Blaisdell Center. Over 1200 pet lovers and their furry friends attended the event and enjoyed fabulous fashion shows, pet vendors and pet-centric entertainment. The event was a great success and we're already planning the 2010 festival, so get your pet films ready!

We're happy to report that pet businesses are booming in Hawaii. Local pet stores and services reported strong holiday sales this past holiday season. This positive news is all due to you and your pets. Mahalo for supporting our local pet community. Don't forget to stop by or contact your local pet stores and services this spring season to take advantage of new products and great discounts -- and don't forget to tell them that you saw their ad in Hawaii Pet Magazine!

On a personal note, you may have noticed a pregnant version of me waddling around local pet events last year. I'm happy to report that our son Robbie joined our ohana this past December and he's already a pet lover -- preferring doggie and animal-themed outfits for his daily ensembles. I have to admit that potty training, caring for and picking up after our dogs Dukie and Kawela -- especially the poo -- prepared us, in small ways, for diaper changing and late night feedings!
